These days back we have had interesting Obradoiro Talks in the School Workshop. For example, Diana Cabana, councilor for tourism, Consumption, Trade, Market and Hospitality of the city Council of A Coruña, explained to the kids of the 2nd Primary role of this local institution. It has been very fun and interesting for the students to learn first-hand how it is organized and works in these Public Administrations.
The students of 6th year of Primary school had the luck of having the doctor Mª del Carmen Luke, who spoke of the impact of medicine in society, and the evolution of it throughout the story. With this intervention we support the line "of scientific Progress and its relationship to health", the transdisciplinary theme "How the world works".
We also received the visit of Rachel Vargas, phd in Biology from the University of Amsterdam. Rachel áyudó the students of 4th-grade to understand how it affects the moon to the living beings. This talk supports the transdisciplinary theme "How the world works".
And, finally, Dr. Francisco Pampín, a doctor who specializes in intensive care, helped to 3rd grade to understand the transdisciplinary theme "Who we are" from the field of medicine. Incidentally, taught us how to help the patients more sick in his work through the use of different health-care facilities.
