Our students of PAI2 (1º ESO) Juana Fernández Suárez and Nacho Becerra Souto have obtained the 1st and 2nd place of the competition “Award Investigates San Rafael”. These awards are organised by the Fundación San Rafael, which promotes the participation of students conducting experiments in science and technology. The director of the Foundation, Dolores Estrada Gromaz, has presented today the prizes at the College.
The winners consisted of an educational video on the investigations that have been carried out along the course and within the programme of the PAI of Biology and Geology.
Juana Fernández Suárez of PAI2B conducted a research titled ”How varies the length (in cm) of the root of Vicia faba depending on the time of exposure (h) to five neodymium magnets N52?” which won the 1st prize.
Nacho (Ignacio) Becerra Souto de PAI2A presented a paper titled “How do I vary the growth of a plant Estatice varied in function of the amount of irrigation water per week: 50 ml, 100 ml, 200 ml?, which won the 2nd prize.
