The delegation from Obradoiro International School, led by Jorge Muiños, Pablo Cabanas, and Ben Smith, recently visited the facilities of the prestigious St Albans School n the United Kingdom. The purpose of the meeting was to formalize an academic exchange agreement for 2026-27.
Founded in 948, St Albans is recognized as the oldest school in Great Britain. During the visit, Mike Wright (Head of Spanish) and Joe Silvester (Headmaster) acted as hosts, highlighting their interest in and admiration for Obradoiro’s educational model.
A standout moment of the day was the tour of the facilities led by two of the British school’s Sixth Form students, who showcased the blend of history and modernity in a place where figures of the caliber of Stephen Hawkingonce studied. This alliance reinforces our commitment to a global education of excellence for our students.
