Welcome from the Headteacher
The first years of life are, without a doubt, the most important stage in human development. It is during this time that children build the foundations of their emotional security, their curiosity to learn, and the confidence that will stay with them throughout their lives.
At Obradoiro, we believe deeply in the value of early childhood education and the importance of offering children an environment where they feel safe, loved, and respected. We provide a place where they can explore, play, discover, and develop at their own pace, accompanied by adults who understand and value childhood.
My professional experience in the United Kingdom has profoundly shaped my understanding of early years education. There, I had the opportunity to work in innovative educational settings where the child is at the center of learning, and where play, curiosity, and meaningful relationships form the basis of the entire educational process. That vision inspires our project at Obradoiro today.
Our goal is to create a stimulating and nurturing space where every child is recognized as a unique individual, with their own rhythm, interests, and talents. We want children to enjoy learning, develop their autonomy, strengthen their confidence, and build a positive relationship with education from their very first years.
The Nursery stage is the beginning of this journey. From here, children continue their path within the Obradoiro educational project, growing in a familiar and consistent environment that supports them through every stage of their development.
For us, it is a privilege to accompany children and their families during these very special early years. I invite you to learn more about our project and discover a place where childhood is experienced with respect, care, and enthusiasm.
