Our Obradoiro Talks series continues its activity these days with fascinating presentations in Primary Education.
5th Grade welcomed Francisco Canabal, a successful businessman who explained to us how the economy and businesses work. This helps us reinforce the content of the transdisciplinary theme "How We Organise Ourselves," in which the children are learning about economic sectors and activities and how the latter affect people's way of life. A big thank you, Francisco!
1st Grade, within the "How We Express Ourselves" unit, met Jesús Suárez, who lost his sight 13 years ago and came to class to show us that we create our own barriers. He taught us how he uses new technologies with great fluency, demonstrated his mastery of the guitar, and delighted us live with the song "1906" (the unofficial anthem of Deportivo de la Coruña), which he composed and plays with his band "Mar de Fondo" and that you can hear at the Riazor Stadium!
A huge thank you for your words and your teachings, Jesús! @jsuarezmf
For their part, 4th Grade was fortunate to have Coke Fernández, an expert in the field of physics and also the father of two students at the school. He came to chat about the origin of the Universe and many other curiosities related to the Inquiry Unit entitled "How the World Works" with the central idea: "The systems in which our planet moves." Once again, thank you very much for your collaboration, Coke! 👏👏👏👏
