Our 2nd-year High School students recently attended an Obradoiro Talks lecture given by Sebas Lorente, a road safety expert and communicator focused on raising awareness about alcohol consumption and driving.
Lorente focused his presentation on educating young people about the dangers of driving under the influence of alcohol, how it affects the body, and how it can cause serious traffic accidents. He also addressed the myths and misconceptions surrounding alcohol consumption and driving, and offered tips to avoid getting behind the wheel after drinking.
Lorente is a lawyer and the author of the book "8 días levantándome de buen humor" (8 Days Waking Up in a Good Mood), as well as a regular contributor to various media outlets.
He gives this conference at nearly 100 schools throughout Spain, where he shares his personal experience (he had an accident leaving a nightclub) and provides some "tips" that can help us make good decisions.
Thank you very much, Sebas Lorente and Fundación Abertis, for your collaboration!
