Baccalaureate

At this stage we started to gather the fruits of the work that the entire Educational Community has been carried out since the stage of Childhood. Collect the fruits in the sense that we can see how our students demonstrate the qualities and characteristics for which we have been educated. However, the work is not finished because the desire to know and the concerns of academic, cultural, sporting and artistic accompany our students throughout their lives.

At this time, our students will have to take the first decisions about their academic future, and accordingly labour; but we are sure of the rightness of their choice because they have been educated in the reflection and the self-knowledge and, in addition, have at their disposal the advice of their teachers and the important work of the Counseling Department of the school.

When you get to high school, our students may choose to pursue the Baccalaureate National or by placing the Program of the International Baccalaureate Diploma (PD). The latter aims to train students who achieve an excellent breadth and depth in their knowledge, at the time that they will grow physically, intellectually, emotionally and ethically. Students reflect on the nature of knowledge, carry out independent research and undertake a project that often involves community service activities.

These programmes encourage students across the world to adopt an attitude of active learning throughout their life, to be compassionate and to understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.”

The Diploma Programme represents much more than a set of subjects, with a program, a methodology and a rigorous evaluation, goes much further, particularly looking for as we read in the declaration of principles of the International Baccalaureate. The formation of the person along with a few contents rigorous academic characterize this program and be able to offer this training opportunity to our students represents a real satisfaction and a beautiful challenge year after year.
