Middle Years Programme International Baccalaureate
Students aged 11 to 16 continue the learning framework of the Program of the International Baccalaureate middle Years programme (MYP). This flexible program accommodates national requirements while employing a rigorous and innovative methodology. During the MYP years, students not only acquire content knowledge in a global context but also develop essential skills and engage in meaningful activities:
- Develop Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills : These skills will not only support their academic success during school but also prepare them for challenges in the future.
- Engage in Collaboration and Service activities: Students identify needs in their environment and implement community service actions to address them.
- Undertake a Personal Project: In their final year of the MYP, all students complete a project that assesses their self-management, research, communication, critical and creative thinking, and collaboration skills.
To achieve these objectives, students explore content through inquiry related to real-life contexts, working collaboratively with a clear purpose.
A distinctive feature of the program is its emphasis on reflection. Students are encouraged to thoughtfully assess challenges, issues, and accomplishments throughout their learning journey.
MYP classrooms are dynamic learning environments where students work individually or in groups based on their needs and the demands of their inquiries.
Through this approach, we aim to instill in our students a lifelong love of learning that extends beyond the classroom.
In High School, students continue to explore a range of disciplines that, while not part of the official curriculum, are essential for their holistic and balanced personal development. For this reason, we dedicate three modules per week to cultural and sports activities, as well as core subjects such as Digital Design, Product Design, Laboratory Techniques, and Singing.
Our curriculum includes a wide range of subjects, taught predominantly in English (40-60% of the school day).
This includes Artificial Intelligence, Economics and Entrepreneurship, Financial Literacy, Public Speaking, Oxford Test of English, and Digital Education.…
